Rules-Based Medicine (www.rbmmaps.com) (RBM) is an Austin, Texas based privately-owned biotechnology company that is committed to providing quality products and services for the life sciences industry. RBM is a biomarker testing laboratory delivering reproducible, quantitative, multiplexed immunoassay data. Our testing panels, called Multi-Analyte Profiles (MAPs), measure from several to hundreds of proteins in a small sample in multiple species and sample types. MAPs provide robust biomarker patterns for drug development, diagnostic, consumer product, and environmental applications.
RBM is looking for a self-motivated individual to fill a Marketing position. We are seeking a multi-talented person with an educational background and/or experience in marketing for a life science and/or diagnostic company. Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.

Major responsibilities include the direction of the companies' positioning, marketing and branding plans. Other duties include:

 Management of an external marketing group.
 Prepare collaterals, advertisement and other marketing pieces in support of sales.
 Work closely with our international sales team.
 Work with senior management to develop a consistent, comprehensive marketing program for both products and services.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Biology or a related science. Strong communication skills, organization skills, and database skills are preferred. Some limited travel will be required.
