Carpenter/Maintenance men needed. Must possess one to three years in a building maintenance positions and provide references. Must pass background and drug screening prior to employment. Must be disciplined self starter, who can follow orders and spot problems and be able to perform quality work quickly and efficiently. Should be a good communicator, honest and respectful.
You will be the eyes and ears for our national clients, completing work orders and reporting issues that exist. Must have your own tools and dependable transportation (large vans, trucks ideal) with computer at home, digital camera and a cell phone. Travel in the Chicago area is our business.
Requirements *Working knowledge of building maintenance to provide preventive maintenance and perform corrective action on any deficiencies
*Troubleshooting and hands-on knowledge of boilers, hot water tanks, appliances, electrical fuse boxes.
*The knowledge and ability to perform basic general repairs. Change locks, basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering and electrical knowledge required
*Ensure the completion of all maintenance service requests in a cost-effective manner.
*Must be able to respond to emergency calls.
Candidates without prior experience will not be considered. $12 hourly.
