Administrative and Financial Assistant - Bilingual a Plus
Real Estate Developer with design-build capabilities seeks exceptional employees. We are currently seeking FULL and PART TIME (16 or more hours a week) Administrative and Financial Assistant to handle basic bookkeeping functions and ordering and tracking material purchases for job sites, and office functions such as typing up documents, preparing reports, research, answering the phone, filing, checking voice mail and other office tasks. This is an ideal position for a retiree with experience or graduate/under graduate student looking to get into the real estate development business. Must be able to work independently in a rigorous, disciplined manner while being asked to think out of the box in a small office. Interested in bilingual candidates (Spanish or French and English). Prior experience working for a real estate, architecture, or family owned business a plus. If a graduate student you must have experience in business, accounting, finance, real estate, planning, or law. This position requires prior office administration experience, report research and preparation, basic knowledge of real estate practices and principles. Must be skilled in all basic office operating procedures including telephone and interaction with the professional public. Experience is also expected in use of all office equipment, Microsoft office suite software and Photoshop. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide executive administrative support. Responsibilities include project specific bookkeeping functions, vendor contact, document filing, answering phones, aid in preparing memos, letters, correspondence, proposals, agreements and maintaining and updating contact database and phone support. Professional office etiquette/attire is required. To qualify, you must possess a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task, ability to work independently and be reliable and accurate.
