We are seeking an experienced Payroll/Benefit Accountant with 10+ years experience (at least five of those years being in a Managerial role). This person will be providing their accounting expertise in an accurate and timely matter, while reporting directly to the VP and managing three people. An ideal candidate will be out of the banking industry with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
*SOX testing and reporting (monthly)
*Review/approve all related journal entries to the accounting system
*Revising/updating operating manuals as they pertain to payroll and benefits
*Daily monitoring of DDAs, WIPs and Suspense Accounts
*Monthly reconciliations of all DDAs, WIPs and Suspense accounts as they related to the HR Department

Qualifications:
*At least 5+ years' Financial Services experience
*Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
*5+ years of Managerial experience
*SOX experience
*DDA and WIP experience
