Huson International Media partners with more than 80 media owners worldwide, to market their print, online, and other media opportunities to US and Canadian clients. Position: We are looking for a FULL time Account Manager during our business hours of Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 6:30 PM (for our Midtown, NYC office)
Candidates should be self-motivated, organized, reliable, and work well under pressure. A professional telephone manner and attention to detail is essential. Candidates with previous relevant advertising sales experience will be given preference.
Compensation: commensurate with experience (base, commission, plus other various incentives)

As part of a planned development to expand our company into representing domestic US partners as well as those based overseas, we have attracted new partners such as Reader’s Digest USA, and Reed-Elsevier. Reader’s Digest, the biggest-selling US magazine (8 million circulation, reaching a total of 38 million+ Americans), has appointed Huson to sell all travel/tourism-related advertising. We are looking for an Account Manager to join our New York sales team to sell travel/tourism advertising into Reader’s Digest USA. We may soon also have one, or even two, additional Account Manager positions to fill; pending contract wins with other media owners.

The right candidate for the Account Manager position in our Empire State Building, Manhattan office will possess attributes such as intelligence, enthusiasm, adaptability, unflagging perseverance, team spirit, and a very strong work ethic. The role will involve sales and business development, including creating completely new travel/tourism ad sections and supplements. It will also involve a certain amount of travel, plus hard work, concentration, and attention to detail. Clients will range from major national and global corporations to relatively small localized destination advertisers.
