Purpose: To provide services and programs that enhance the performance capability of the employees and enable achievement of key business results by managing the Human Resources function.
Areas of Responsibility: - Develops and implements human resource strategies that support achievement of the hotel's goals - Fills positions with qualified candidates on a timely basis - Oversees administration of HR/Benefits issues and ensures adherence to employement related laws - Ensures that key education and training courses are delivered at the hotel in accordance with Carlson Managed Hotels & Resorts standards - Develops and implements practices which support employee engagement
Position Requirements:
- Education/experience equivalent to 4 year college degree - Previous experience in Human Resources role, preferrably with the hospitality industry - Previous recruitment and transactional HR experience (i.e. payroll, benefits, etc.) - Proven ability to multi-task, effectively communicate with others and can identify and resolve problems
