The candidate that fills this position will be taking a key role in design and software development for RoutEx platform and suite of associated applications. The environment is fast paced, with multiple projects, feeding a strong commitment to drive and maintain E-Trade¡¦s competitive ability in the market place. The candidate will be frequently interacting with other internal groups as well as external organizations, driving solutions to technical and business demands of the projects and leading the team in the implementation of those solutions.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

„X Proficiency in C++, Object Oriented Design/Methodology and Perl
„X Strong UNIX background. ¡¥
„X Strong shell scripting will be plus.
„X Software development of applications integrating with vendor or home-grown FIX engine.
„X ESQL/ DB (Sybase, Oracle) skills.
„X Experience in working with sockets, Roguewave, Multithreaded programming.
„X Trading System Experience will be a big plus.
