We are looking for a Software Developer on behalf of our client in the DUMBO Area
Summary:
We are looking for a quality-minded Software Developer to help build out platforms. Typical projects include creating rich interactive applications, scaling up large transactional systems, building a state of the art web-based reporting and data analysis system, and developing web 2.0 collaboration tools.

Requirements:
· BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
· 1 to 5 years of experience with OO programming in Java.
· Fluency in at least another OO or scripting language such as Ruby, Python, C++ or C#.
· Familiarity with UNIX tools.
· Strong fundamentals (OO, Algorithms, Data structures)
· Taste for simplicity and elegance in technical design
· Appreciation for test-driven development, and building software “the right way”
Bonus points for:
· Experience with Oracle. SQL and PL/SQL wizardry.
· Experience with server-side java technologies and major application servers
· Experience developing with / extending Drupal.
· Advanced front-end and Ajax skills.
Please be prepared if less than 2 years of experience or recently graduated that you may be required to provide SAT and / or college GPA scores.
