Magnani Caruso Dutton, a leading interactive design and marketing agency, is looking for a Flash Developer to work on a number of different projects to develop and implement interfaces for large scale web sites. Located in New York City, we are an independent agency that has created award-winning work for top brands, including AT&T;, Discover Financial Services, Sesame Street, HBO, Tiffany & Co. and Coca-Cola.
The individual will be responsible for bringing a project to life, thus, applicants must show strong understanding of web functionality, animation, usability, and optimization.
Qualifications
* Extensive knowledge of Flash ActionScript3 and Flex is a significant plus
* 3 years experience in a studio environment (although exceptional work can make up for lack of studio time)
* Coded animation experience (timeline also a plus)
* Understanding of OOP, web optimization practices and examples to prove it
* Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
* Previous experience working with web services
* Ability to stay focused and deliver on time and on budget
* Any design, CSS/HTML, server side development is always a plus
Candidates must have honed object oriented ActionScript 3 skills and are able to migrate design ideas into Flash pieces, to be used in microsites, banner ads etc.
But above all, we seek for talent before experience.
