International Sports Management is seeking a select few Account Executives to assist in selling upcoming events. Please read posting below in entirety before applying:
ISM is the global leader in corporate sports hospitality. Since 1997 we’ve worked with over 70% of the Fortune 1000. We are looking for articulate, driven, educated and money-motivated individuals capable of closing deals with senior level management. The position is focused on new business acquisition for the first six months and a combination of account management and acquisition the balance of the first 12 months. Selling is conducted via phone as the territory includes the entire U.S. This is not a telemarketing job; it is a B2B executive selling position. We are only looking for individuals that wish to grow into a management role within the next year.
We produce events including the Super Bowl, Kentucky Derby, Masters, the entire NCAA Basketball Tournament, and over 40 additional events around the globe. You will be selling events that are in excess of $100K+. ISM custom creates these packages, designed to entertain elite corporate clients. Corporate America uses our offerings to foster key relationships. There are many companies and divisions still left to bring aboard as clients, and that’s where you’ll step in.
Once trained, sales management opportunities are available within 12 months in Chicago as well as in other locations across the U.S. and abroad.

What We Require:
* Bachelors Degree AND/OR At least 1 year in sales required, with inside B2B sales preferred
* Dedicated work ethic that strives to go above and beyond
* Patience to understand a steep learning curve.
* Outstanding telephone and cold calling skills
* Aptitude to negotiate and close business via the phone.
* Motivated to grow into an expanded and/or management role.
* Ability to explain how a deficiency in one of the above categories shouldn’t stop us from interviewing you for the position and your next career
