Initial contract through June 09

Consultant will be re-doing web-code for ecommerce sites. .net is the primary skill set here. If they have worked on .net content management tools like http://www.sitecore.net/, or http://www.ektron.com/,that would be great.

Design, build, test, and maintain web applications within the Client internet platform. This position will be primarily involved in the design, development and evolution of Client’ .net internet platform framework.

- 3-5 years of experience designing, developing and testing middle tier technologies including
-.NET framework (through 3.0)
- C#, ASP.NET
- Server-side Integration
-.NET Remoting, Web Services, REST, WCF, XML-RPC, Flex Data Services, etc.
- SQL Server
- Experience with Content Management Applications

Other Requirements:
* Self motivated and able to work in an independent manner.
* Proven leader in driving change to improve development processes and standards.
* Experience in multiple structured software development methodologies, including waterfall and Agile.
* Four-year college degree; focus on engineering, computer science or related work experience.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Desire to learn and evolve technology skill sets, patterns, and methodologies.
* Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments and to work as part of a team.

Preferred:
* Experience integrating with front end browser technologies, including JavaScript frameworks and Flash/Flex.
* Understanding of Biztalk Server.
* Experience working in a consulting or agency atmosphere.
* Understanding of SOA, ESB Principles.
