Title: Mid Level Web Developer
Location: Telecommute/Remote 100%
Salary/Rate: DOE
Duration: PERM/SALARIED
Description:
Assists in the design, coding, and testing of technical solutions.
Understands standard systems development lifecycle processes and applies our methodology effectively on client engagements.
Applies knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.
Understands project and development plans and is able to clearly articulate roles, project goals, and timelines
Establishes responsible deadlines and personal work plans.
Relational Databases
Understands basic relational database concepts.
Possesses knowledge of various database access methods.
Skills and Experience Required
3-5 years experience and must be proficient in Java, J2EE, SQL, UNIX and JavaScript.
Exhibits proficiency in HTML and one scripting language.
Possesses basic knowledge of XML/XSL.
Must also have experience using jsp, perl, ruby, linux, struts, apache, mysql, bash / shell scripting, prototype, scriptaculous.
Experience developing web applications on a Unix/Linux platform with familiarity of common UNIX shell commands.
Adaptive to a rapidly changing environment and works creatively with minimal supervision.
Excellent time management skills in handling multiple priorities with individual deadlines.
Must work well in both a team environment as well as a sole contributor.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Nice to have Skills, Experience, and Qualities
PHP, rails, ubuntu, gentoo, asp, asp.net, jquery, actionscript and flash.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
