Katie Mullen’s Irish Restaurant & Pub will be opening at the Sheraton Denver (downtown Court Place) in February 2009.

With four different bars, seating for over 500 guests and a style of décor reminiscent of the beautifully-crafted Victorian pubs of Ireland, Katie’s will make a big impact on dining and entertainment in Denver. We anticipate revenues will exceed $7M in our first year.

We are looking for an Executive Head Chef or Executive Kitchen Manager with the proven ability and skills to pre-open and open a very busy restaurant.

Here’s who we think you are:

You have managed and led a busy restaurant kitchen team in a 300 seat+ establishment

You are self-motivated, quality-driven and a person to whom people turn for leadership

You understand the importance of the core offering in an Irish Pub and you understand how to be fresh, creative and innovative with your menu while still delivering authenticity

You have great coaching skills and you insist that your team continuously develop their skills

You understand the process involved in delivering a consistent product and can clearly demonstrate and document how you have done this successfully n the past

You understand kitchen economics and you know how to provide clear information on profitability, cost analysis and inventory variance
