Alarm Monitoring Operator 1st shift/3rd shift Northbrook, Illinois

Provides prompt and accurate resource to alarm signals received at the National corporate office contact center.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
** Responds to residential and commercial alarm signals, based on established company policies and procedures, when they are triggered and appear on the CRT.
** Dispatches security or emergency personnel, if applicable, to premises after receiving an alarm.
** Interacts with customers, customer's emergency contacts and emergency dispatchers in responding to residential and/or business alarms signals.
** Establishes and maintains rapport with fire, medical, and law enforcement agencies throughout the United States.
** Understands and uses correct interdepartmental procedures and policies when interfacing with other departments within the company.
** Performs miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor.


QUALIFICATIONS
** Previous security (or tech support) dispatch, (ADT, Honeywell, E911, Police, Fire etc.)
** Excellent PC skills, especially with Word and Excel.
** Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
** Experience handling multiple lines and phone calls.
** Strong written and verbal communication skills.
** Show initiative and good decision-making skills.
** Customer service savvy and follow through with customers and vendors.
** Good typing skills for accurate documents and data entry
** MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
** IT, Clerical, secretarial, data entry, and customer service background
